Angelica Dawson - Who Am I?

Who am I? You don't know?! Actually, I'm totally not surprised. I'm pretty new around here. In fact, I didn't exist last year. I'm a new pen name for an author who only has one credit. Why the hell does an author with one lousy credit need a pen name? Not like anyone knows her real name. Well, except for those kids she read to in their classroom, the ones in Grade 7 and 8. I suppose their mothers wouldn't like them bringing home Blue Moon House. Still, only a couple of classes, really hardly anyone. She's such a nobody.

Oh, I guess I'm not really anybody yet either.

I have one over on her though! I have TWO credits. That's right, two. Twice as many. They both came out this month, but I don't think that makes a difference.

Perhaps I should tell you about them. You see, I had this great idea for a story with all aspects of BDSM, something really off the chart, a little bit of everything so no one would be comfortable and everyone would be intrigued. I thought, hey, this doesn't suck. In fact, it's pretty good. Maybe I should try to find someone to publish it. I never thought I'd get Naughty Nights to take it. Lucky me!

So there I was, reading their submission requirements and I saw this call for College themed stories for an anthology. Well, I had long boring days in a car, I could think up something, right? I started three different pieces before I found a winner. And a winner she was! Laura, the main character wins the auction for a football lineman, someone everyone was passing up. Not only did she get to save poor Tim further embarrassment, she found a really caring guy who was willing to do anything for her in the bedroom. Keeper, all the way.

Just like Julia. She's the human submissive in Blue Moon House. Her vampire Dom, Harry, has decided she is a keeper, too. Only there are already seven vampires in the house. Do they really want another? Julia has to convince all of them that they want her, and she really only has one chance with each of them. Doesn't that sound like the perfect set up for a little bit of everything? I'm pretty smart sometimes. Though, I'm still not sure about this pen name thing. Maybe she should just quit writing under her name and spend all her time as me! That would be great. Then maybe she'd finish writing Jocelyn's story for a prequel. I mean really, lady, the clock is ticking here.

Angelica Dawson is my pen name. She's me, only even more outgoing and generally hiding the softer vulnerable side. I'm insanely jealous of her some days. I think I need to see a therapist.
